Hand-Coded Websites That Just Work

I design, build, and personally maintain websites for small businesses, breeders, clubs, and HOAs around Colorado Springs and beyond. No template lock-in, no surprise plugin fees — just clean, hand-written code and someone who actually picks up when you need a change.

How I Work

Discovery — I learn what your organization actually needs.  •  Design — a clean look that fits your brand.  •  Build — hand-coded in PHP, HTML, CSS & Bootstrap so you own every line.  •  Launch — tested across devices and browsers.  •  Maintain — ongoing updates and security, year after year.

Selected Work

Rocky Mountain Hound Association website

Rocky Mountain Hound Association

A registration-heavy organizational site, hardened and maintained.

The challenge: A busy hound-association site that had grown over the years to run multiple public forms — event registration, trophy donations, a health-clinic signup, and vendor registration — with security and reliability gaps that come with organic growth.

What I did: Hardened every form with CSRF protection, converted destructive links from GET to POST so they can't be triggered by accident, moved email credentials out of the code into a protected shared config, fixed a database query that was hiding some entries, and removed exposed utility files.

The result: A secure, dependable registration system the club runs its events on. [[ Add: years maintained, e.g. "Maintained since 20XX," or a club-officer quote ]]

Colorado Springs Kennel Club website

Colorado Springs Kennel Club

Online vendor registration with secure payments.

The challenge: The club needed vendors to be able to register and pay for show booths online, instead of by paper and check.

What I did: Built a vendor registration flow wired to secure PayPal checkout, so payments are handled by a trusted processor and the club never touches card data.

The result: Vendors register and pay in a few minutes, and the club gets clean, organized submissions. [[ Add: a quote from a club officer, or "X vendors registered for the 20XX show" ]]

Prairie Vista Meadows HOA website

Prairie Vista Meadows HOA

A simple, reliable hub for an entire neighborhood.

The challenge: An HOA needs one clear place for residents to find documents, announcements, and contacts — without a board member having to wrestle with complicated software to keep it current.

What I did: Built a clean, fast PHP/Bootstrap site that's easy to read on a phone and easy for me to update on the board's behalf.

The result: Residents have a single, trustworthy source of truth for community information. [[ Add: a board-member quote, or "serving X households" ]]

Blarney Shelties website

Breeders & Clubs

Long-running sites for the dog & cat world.

The challenge: Small breeders and clubs need attractive, trustworthy websites — but can't justify an agency retainer or a monthly platform bill.

What I did: Built and have personally maintained sites for breeders and clubs including Blarney Shelties, Echo Hill Shelties, Manx Cats, Ocotilla Goldens & Chessies, and the ZASSC lure-coursing association.

The result: A roster of organizations I've kept online and current for years — many of them long-term relationships. [[ Add: "X+ organizations" / "Y+ years" / a client quote ]]

What Clients Say

[[ Replace the three cards below with real quotes — even one or two genuine ones is worth more than a wall of generic praise. Ask a club officer or breeder for a sentence or two. ]]
