KeeperSuite — Brian Brixon

Software for kennels, pet resorts and dog sports.

I build KeeperSuite for the same people I make websites for: clubs, breeders and pet businesses. Every app keeps working when the internet doesn’t, at a fairground, a show site or a kennel down a long gravel road.

The suite

Four apps, one way of working

The GateKeeper website

Lure coursing and Fast CAT

GateKeeper Beta

Field secretary software for ASFA lure coursing and AKC Fast CAT: roll call, judging, scoring and the records packet, all of it offline at the field.

Breeders and kennels

KennelKeeper Beta

Breeding records for dogs, cats and horses: pedigrees, heat cycles, litters, health records and buyers, kept on your own computer.

ResortKeeper Beta

What I won’t do

Four promises, in plain words

  • Your data is yours.

Your records live on your own computer, not locked on somebody else’s server.

  • No per-entry fees.

GateKeeper and ShowKeeper take nothing from your exhibitors’ entries, and ResortKeeper takes no cut of your payments.

  • You choose how you get paid.

Connect the payment processor you already use. Nobody sits in the middle.

  • Perpetual means perpetual.

A GateKeeper Club Licence is a one-time purchase, yours to keep, with no renewal.

Why I build it

Built for the clubs I already work with.

I’ve spent years building websites for kennel clubs, breeders and the dog-sport world, and I kept seeing the same thing: good people stuck with software that charged them per entry, held their records hostage, or stopped working the moment the signal dropped.

So I build the tools I’d want to use myself: local-first, paid for once where I can, and honest about what they cost. If you run trials, shows, a kennel or a pet resort and want to try one, I’d like to hear from you.
